WWE Royal Rumble 2024: Every match ranked from worst to best
3. Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight vs. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles - Undisputed WWE Championship Match
Michael Cole said there was a big fight feel right before this match began and you can't really argue with that. All three of Roman Reigns' opponents have sold themselves really well in the run up to the Fatal 4-Way match and there was just something so awesome about seeing veterans AJ Styles and Randy Orton, 2023's biggest star LA Knight, and the champ Reigns in the ring together.
The resulting match mostly delivered as it fed into the whole notion that Reigns could lose the championship without having to be pinned really well. Each superstar got a chance to showcase what they could do, all having moments from time-to-time, and just some all-out nonsense (in the good kind of way) taking place too. One of the beauties of Fatal 4-Way matches is the No DQ stipulation and we got some chairshots in there as well as the typical Bloodline interference on behalf of Reigns from Solo Sikoa.
The ending was pretty divisive online, but I think it worked well, protecting AJ Styles from a clean pinfall due to the fumble with Knight, and protecting Knight from taking another championship loss so soon. And naturally, it once again made Roman Reigns look absolutely unstoppable - which is the name of the game right now.
