2023 was an amazing year for World Wrestling Entertainment. Records were broken, new wrestlers signed with the WWE, and a lot of performers improved. Now, it’s the end of the year. It’s time to give out the awards for the best moments, matches, and wrestlers of 2023.

WWE Win of the Year: Jey Uso pins Roman Reigns (Money in the Bank)

It had been years since Roman Reigns was pinned. No one thought it would happen. Then Jey Uso came in and did the impossible. He and his brother Jey defeated the Tribal Chief. That’s one of the reasons Jey Uso pinning Roman Reigns was special. It’s more than him beating Roman. He was the first person ever to pin Roman in the WWE. That means he’s on two firsts regarding Roman Reigns’ losses. It also helped catapult Jey Uso to becoming "Main Event" Jey Uso.

Honorable mention: Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens beat the Usos (WrestleMania 39)

Brightest future: Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill may not become the best wrestler of all time, but she’ll be their brightest star. She exudes potential. She’s athletic, gorgeous, a great talker, and gives the fans a show before she even steps in the ring. AEW was just her warmup act. We haven’t come close to seeing her final form. The arena will explode with excitement When she makes her in-ring debut (most likely at the 2024 Royal Rumble.
