Yet another title change rumored for upcoming Marvel series
In news that is both not surprising yet shocking, the upcoming Disney Plus show centred on our most beloved wicked and stealthy witch, Agatha Harkness, may have received yet another title change.
The show was originally titled Agatha: House of Harkness before being retitled to the catchy Agatha: Coven of Chaos. The latter stuck around for so long it actually looked like it might hold onto its spot as the Marvel Cinematic Universe show's official title, but it was subsequently changed to Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. But now, a new report from scooper Can We Get Some Toast suggests that the series has now been given another new title.
Behold; it is now expected to be called Agatha: All Along.
While the reason for all the title changes are not entirely known, it's a little alarming that there's been yet another change - that's title number 4. This show alone has had more title changes than DC has had hits in recent years.
While we can only speculate if there'll be another title change in the future or, at this point, if the show will even be released at all, I reflect on the "All Along" part of the title and... I don't get it. All along what? Has Agatha been the one behind Scarlet Witch's powers all along? Has she been influencing Wanda all along to take over that small town in New Jersey and keep everyone enslaved? Or, better yet - has Agatha been Kang all along and is therefore pulling all the MCU strings?! Whatever the reason, it's a nice nod to the iconic song that became a phenomenon after Agatha Harkness' reveal as neighbor Agnes in WandaVision.
All joking aside, I really miss it when the title was just Agatha: Coven of Chaos because that's the exact vibe I get from Agatha. She is very much a chaotic bean and I, also a chaotic bean, am all here for her sass. You know, if it does indeed come out.
We'll have to wait and see if Marvel Studios will confirm the title change any time soon, but at this point, it's probably best to just call it Agatha as that's the only part that has stayed the same.
What do you think about this fourth and seemingly very random title change?
