The Predator franchise is more popular than ever right now, with Predator: Killer of Killers dominating streaming charts and Predator: Badlands already proving to be a moderate hit at the global box office. Therefore, now is the perfect time for Marvel to announce a new Predator comic miniseries in the form of Predator: Bloodshed.

The five-issue miniseries will see a Predator (or a Yautja, as the species is officially known) entering an underground mixed martial arts tournament on Earth, with the human fighters needing to face the deadly alien in the ring. Since Yautja are significantly stronger than humans, it seems unlikely that the Predator’s opponents will stand much of a chance, but we will need to wait until February to see how the fights play out.

Predator: Bloodshed was written by Jordan Morris, who is no stranger to the Predator franchise, as he previously scripted the story titled "A Good Boy" for the fourth issue of Predator: Black, White & Blood. Morris will also be known to Marvel fans for his work on Web of Spider-Verse: New Blood, in which he wrote the story titled "Count Parker", in addition to scripting a Venom-themed story for Venom #252.

While Predator: Bloodshed will be illustrated by Roland Boschi, who is known for previously illustrating numerous Ghost Rider, Punisher, and Wolverine comics. And the covers for Predator: Badlands were created by Ken Lashley, who also illustrated covers to Bishop War College, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Spider-Man 2099: Dark Genesis, and Marvel Zombies. With so many talented creatives onboard, Predator: Bloodshed is already destined to be a hit.

Morris was clearly very keen to have been given the opportunity to write Predator: Bloodshed and he also feels that an underground fighting tournament is a perfect scenario for a Predator to be featured in, as he explained in the following statement (thanks to AIPT for providing the remarks):

“Getting to be part of Predator: Black, White & Blood was such an honor…The Yautja is one of the coolest characters in pop culture, and now we’re pushing things even further — longer, crazier, and bloodier…An underground fighting tournament is the perfect challenge for the galaxy’s greatest hunter…I grew up on fighting games and kung fu movies, so this is my dream scenario — watching a Predator absolutely wreck shop.”

The first issue of Predator: Bloodshed will arrive in stores on February 25, 2026, so fans do not have long to wait before experiencing what sounds like it could be one of the most memorable Predator comics to date.

Until then, you can enjoy Predator: Badlands in cinemas, and you can also watch the hugely entertaining Predator: Killer of Killers at home on Hulu in the US, or on Disney+ in the UK. With so much new Predator-themed content now on offer, there really has never been a better time to be a Predator fan.
