It's been a long wait but fan-favorite series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is finally back on our screens. And the Star Trek series has a lot to deal with, especially after how the previous season concluded. If you recall, the season 3 finale had Captain Christopher Pike suffering another loss. Captain Marie Batel sacrificed herself to keep the Vezda (an extremely ancient species of malevolent, extra-dimensional lifeforms capable of taking over humanoid bodies) imprisoned, but not before giving her partner a life full of happiness.
Before she became the statue that imprisons the Vazda, Batel showed Pike the life that they could have had if he didn’t die from the delta ray radiation in the future. During that vision, he and Batel have a daughter, who marries a longtime friend. She grows up to join Starfleet and has a child of her own. Meanwhile, Christopher and Marie live a long and happy life. And while this was a vision, Christopher says he felt the experience and took it as a gift.
This season of the Star Trek series will show how Pike deals with another loss, but that’s not the only storyline to look forward to. There's the evolution of Spock and Kirk's friendship, the evolution of Uhura, La'an and her bloodline, and more. Plus, after seeing the season 4 premiere, I can tell you that the title “Strange New Worlds” is accurate.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 episode 1, titled “Valles Marineris“, is set to premiere on Paramount+ in the US on Thursday, July 23, at 12:00 a.m. PT, 3:00 a.m. ET, 1:00 a.m. MT, and 2:00 a.m. CT.
It's also worth pointing out that Paramount+ is a global streaming service, which means Trekkies around the world can tune in. For India, in which the streamer is not available, Strange New Worlds season 4 will be available to watch via JioCinema like all other Paramount content.

What to expect in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 premiere
The season 4 premiere of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be a great representation of the show. All of the elements of the lore that people enjoy are displayed. There are consequences, evolution of characters, and foreboding moments that could lead to dire things in the future. Plus, and this isn’t spoiling much since it was in the preview, there are dinosaurs!
One thing to remember is that this beloved series take place before Star Trek: The Original Series in the franchise's official timeline. However, while we can assume the future is predetermined, don’t think that things will always go as planned. As I’ve learned from watching this show, anything is possible.
So get ready to go where no one has boldly gone before and prepare for the newest adventure in the Star Trek saga. It will undoubtedly be a memorable one!
