The season 4 premiere of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds kicked this season off on a strong note. It had everything you could ever need from a Star Trek show; from time travel to never-before-seen species and even dinosaurs. And, as I mentioned in my review of the episode, it was the perfect installment to get new fans into the show. Because even if you knew nothing about Star Trek or the characters, “Valles Marineris” wasan unlikely, unexpectedly great starting point.

But that's just the beginning of the season. We know with Strange New Worlds that quite literally anything is possible and we're undoubtedly going to see that in full swing throughout the remainder of the season. If you'd like to find out how tune into the next installment, here's everything you need to know about the season's sophomore outing.

What to expect in the next episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

In the season 3 finale, Spock and James T. Kirk did the Vulcan Mind Meld to help save the day. Later in that episode, the two were seen playing chess and enjoying each other’s company. This was a sign that this is where their world-renowned friendship began. And, according to the official description for the next episode, their relationship will be put to the test.

Another storyline to pay attention to involves La'an Noonien-Singh. During the season 4 premiere, she mentioned that she broke her hand and felt no pain. She believes this is because her Augmented DNA genes have activated. This means she could become less caring due to not feeling anything, and become more like Khan Noonien-Singh.

Look for Spock to start noticing things being off about La'an because he doesn't miss anything. Also, pay attention to this being the reason their relationship ends. Stay tuned to Bam Smack Pow to find out if this is the case.
