Chucky

Fans were rightfully left shocked and disappointed when Syfy and USA Network announced they wouldn’t be bringing Chucky back for a fourth season this September. The series has been an incredible addition to the Child’s Play franchise bringing back our favorite homicidal killer doll for a series of adventures that have taken Chucky to places we never thought we’d see including the White House.

The series has developed a strong following and has been a steady performer across its three seasons, creating quite a fandom in that short time.

Fans are still fighting to bring the show back for another season and the show’s creator has indicated he too hopes to see the show return. Let’s hope the powers that be will take notice as Chucky is a show that deserves to continue!

Quantum Leap

Speaking of shows that deserved to continue we have NBC’s Quantum Leap which was canceled after two amazing seasons this April.

The revival of NBC’s original series of the same name, followed Dr. Ben Song as he picked up where Dr. Sam Beckett had left off 30 years ago by stepping into the Quantum Leap accelerator and began a journey of his own leaping through time. The show was such a fun and perfect continuation with an amazing cast, and we were so excited to see where the story might go next following the season 2 finale which ended up becoming a series finale.

It’s such a shame concept dramas – particularly those about time travel – just don’t seem to fare well on NBC as the network has turned out some amazing shows in the genre which sadly keep getting overlooked leading to shortened runs for some incredible shows.
