Marvel's First Family has made a huge impression on audiences around the world. The Fantastic Four: First Steps was expected to be one of the biggest hits of the summer and that's exactly what it turned out to be, thrilling fans and kickstarting a brand new for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also provided that franchise with a much-needed box office win, grossing over $500 million in its theatrical run and surpassing some of the most beloved MCU movies of all time domestically.
The film ended up delivering some of the most well-received moments from a Marvel Studios movie in some time, and that's not all that surprising when you factor in the star-studded cast. Pedro Pascal takes on the role of Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic, while Vanessa Kirby plays Sue Storm, a.k.a. the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn portrays Johnny Storm, a.k.a. the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach brings Ben Grimm, a.k.a. The Thing, to life. That's not even taking Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner's Silver Surfer into account!
The film is now set to make its presence felt on the Disney Plus streaming service, meaning that MCU fans who already saw it in theaters can now revisit it. Those who didn't, however, can now enjoy the beloved adventure for the first time. If you'd like to know when exactly you can watch it in your region, here's what you need to!

What The Fantastic Four: First Steps is about and who stars in it
Although The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it is set on another earth in the franchise's multiverse. That makes it one of the most important titles in the Multiverse Saga. It also serves as the franchise's official introduction to the Fantastic Four themselves, who MCU fans have wanted to see join the fray for many, many years.
Marvel's First Family have become celebrities on their earth, known for using their special abilities to save the people in need. Reed Richards is a brilliant scientist who develops the ability to stretch beyond what the human body should be capable of. His wife, Sue Storm, is a brilliant diplomat, bringing about peace at times of conflict. Her brother, Johnny Storm, has become the face of the Fantastic Four, known for his charm and good looks, but he's also capable of the thought-provoking motivations that his family is. And Ben Grimm, the lovable man who wears his heart on his sleeve is so much more than the unbelievable strength that his new form has granted him.
Together, they are the heroes that their earth needs. And they are the heroes that all earths need when Galactus comes calling, hoping to literally consume the Earth and all of its energy to keep him well-fed. Naturally, the Fantastic Four are willing to do everything to keep their loved ones - including Franklin Richards, the son of Reed and Sue - safe from harm.
The film stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ralph Ineson, Julia Garner, Sarah Niles, Mark Gatiss, Natasha Lyonne, and Paul Water Hauser. It was also designed to set the stage for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, as Pascal, Kirby, Quinn, and Moss-Bachrach will all return in the 2026 movie.
