WARNING! SPOILER FOR SEASON 2, EPISODE 2 OF THE LAST OF US AHEAD!

A lot happened in season 2, episode 2 of The Last of Us. The town of Jackson, Wyoming, was overrun by infected people. Many people were injured, killed, and infected. After the fight was over, there was damage to the buildings and people’s psyches that couldn't be repaired. On a large scale, that was the worst thing that happened, but the death of Joel while Ellie watched was the part everyone will remember.

It’s doubtful that anyone has held a secret the way people who’ve played The Last of Us have. They didn’t spoil the ending when Joel saved Ellie, and they didn’t mention that he died. Even after the episode aired, this site has added spoiler alerts before the articles begin. Meanwhile, some fans ruined the ending to Avengers: Infinity War and the guest appearances in Deadpool and Wolverine. With that out of the way, the season can continue with a rough ride.

The battle of the citizens of the Jackson community vs the infected didn’t happen in the game. Because of that, there will be a new and disheartening moment, the aftermath. Does Jackson rebuild their community after the devastation, and how will they react to the trauma? How does this affect Tommy and people’s faith in him? Do citizens rethink everything and start to fear more than ever? Maybe more importantly for viewers, how does he handle the death of his brother?

Ellie and Tommy will want revenge. It was an important part of the game, so there’s no reason to think it will change dramatically in the show. Plus, as the trailer showed, Dina knows what Abby and her crew look like and where they went. Now it’s just a matter of seeing how things change from the source material.

Other than the show itself, this is where we see another level of Bella Ramsey’s acting range. Yes, she’s been superb so far and has shown greatness as Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones. However, the things she’s about to do will put her on another level.
