The variants for The Invincible War on Prime Video's Invincible season 3 didn’t disappoint. The majority of them had great and memorable fights throughout the long-awaited seventh episode of the season. The ones who didn’t at least looked cool (or, well, their death looked brutal), so they all made an impression. However, as strong and tough as the Mark Grayson variants were, they weren’t all created equal.
Since there are some forgettable variants within the bunch, allow us to rank the top ten instead of the entire bunch. Let’s begin with an honorable mention.
Honorable mention: Thraxainvincible
We didn’t see him fight and he was clearly one of the weakest of the bunch, but it doesn't matter because Thraxainvincible made an impression. It may have been because he spent too much time on Thraxa (where Omni-Man went after he left Earth) and didn’t train to get better. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have lost to the Reanimen and Donald. But he did. But again, he made an impression.
10. Hairvincible
Hair Invincible is only known and remembered because he had wild hair. He looked like someone from a 1980s hairband or a caveman. If he didn’t have a recognized look, it’s doubtful anyone would remember anything he did. But at least he lasted longer than the Thraxan.
9. Capvincinble (look up his name)
Capvincible was a bit of a chump, but it took a lot of superhumans to take him down. This is a case of arrogance being someone’s downfall. It was a good second fight for Invincible and Eve.
8. Capevincible
Capevincible stood up to Angstrom Levy and destroyed London. He also killed a strong superhero and their sidekick. But, other than rallying the variants against Levy, he was pretty forgettable.
7. Maskvincible
Surviving this was a big deal and he did it. The one takeaway from him was that he missed his mother and wanted to bring her back to his dimension. In terms of fighting, he must have done something right. He was one of the remaining variants and is shown flying and staring at the destroyed Golden Gate Bridge.
6. Prisonvincible
Prisonvinicble didn’t lose his fight and conquered Russia with ease. And when it was time to face Angstrom Levy, he was ready to take him out. The question I want to know is what the Viltrumites did to him in prison to have his skin look so burnt. Secondly, how did he survive the punishment?
5. Stripevincible
I’ll give him this, he was a survivor and he was one of the first Marks to defeat his enemies. He was so confident that he ruthlessly insulted a superpowered hero. He kept that same energy when Angstrom Levy wanted more from his group. So bonus points for not changing.
4. Gogglesvincible
This Mark’s appearance was short but Gogglesvincible was good. He knew exactly how to hurt his opponents (Robot, Monster Girl, Bulletproof, and Rex Splode) emotionally while he was beating them physically. It made his defeat that much better.
3. Nogogglesible
This one had a crazed look in his eyes and enjoyed killing and fighting more than the others. It’s probably what made him so strong. He didn’t care about the pain. He may have liked it. It was like Moon Knight and Deadpool had a baby.
2. Omnivincible
The two notable things about Omnivincible are what put him second on this list. First, he didn’t seem to have a lot of battle damage. When you’re fighting heroes around the world and your suit looks clean, you’re doing a good job. Second, he never seemed to lose his cool. Omnivincible stayed calm even when Prime Universe Mark and Eve were fighting him and Hoodvincible was being belligerent
1. Monvincihawk
Monvincihawk was the big dog of the team. While most people with big mouths are usually all talk, he backed it up and flew around the world and beat everyone he could. He also survived an encounter with Invincible, Capes Incorporated, Powerplex, and other fights that weren't shown.
Lastly, out of all of the variants, he was the only one who understood the deal and wasn’t surprised when he was betrayed by Angstrom Levy. Add all of that up and you get your No. 1 Invincible variant.
