Before you say anything, we know some people already think we’ve seen this guy incorporated into the David Banner character in the Ang Lee “Hulk” film. That doesn’t matter, because it wasn’t Crusher Creel, and Marvel wants us to forget about that movie anyway. Consider it done!

Like Wrecker, Absorbing Man is a human who gets his amazing powers courtesy of Asgard. You could even go topical with sports and PEDs since Creel is a boxer and he drinks a mysterious liquid to earn his name. It goes without saying that the writers could have a field day with special effects sequences putting his ability to turn into any substance he touches to the test, so you’d better have a healthy budget if you have this guy on board.
