Venom from Spider-Man 3

Venom is getting his own spin-off movie, we all know that! And he might even be a good-guy. But there seems to be more and more indications that Venom can actually be seen in the Amazing Spider-Man 2 in one form or another. In fact there are several clues, hints and possible sightings of everybodies’ favourite symbiote.

First up here’s a tweet that Mark Webb posted that lead many to believe that Dane DeHaan would be playing Eddie Brock, or another character closely related to Venom. Of course the picture that Webb posted on DeHaan’s birthday is of Locker 14, which is of course the locker that Peter Parker and Eddie Brock find the venom suit in the Ultimate Spider-Man comic.

Next up we have a picture from the keen-eyed Sevenwebheads who thinks that he saw a Venom reference inside Richard Parker’s secret lab. He surmises that if you look at the left of the picture that is below you can see what appears to be small bottles containing a black substance. Is that the Venom symbiote?

Then there’s this shot from the final trailer, and previous trailers that many believe is a Venom easter egg. People think that the moving black spot in the background to the left of Spidey’s face could possibly be Venom swinging around. Check the image out below and see what you think!

And last but not least there’s this rather telling leaked photo from an upcoming featurette that should be released within the next week or so. The image shows that in the same corridor that Vulture’s wings and Doc Oc’s arms can be seen with the Man in Shadows walking past them, there is also a glass spherical object with a black moving substance inside. You can see the low quality image below

So there you have it. That’s not  all of the possible Venom easter eggs that are out there but these are perhaps the most convincing ones. It really does seem like the film will include a Venom reference in some way with the above end-credit scene photo being the strongest case.
