Amazing Spider-Man 2 game teases several more villains

We’ve seen a multitude of villains now confirmed for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game which is exciting for many reasons. The game is running alongside the film in terms of storyline which means that any villains that will appear in the game could turn up in a film at some stage. It also means more simply that we’ll be seeing those villains in some form and will even be battling against some of them, which for a fan of Spider-Man is a great thing.

So we know that Black Cat and Carnage will be appearing, alongside Kingpin who seems like a major antagonist. Then there’s Kraven the Hunter who seems to be acting like a mentor. We’ll also be seeing Shocker before he becomes Shocker as well as the two main villains from the Amazing Spider-Man 2 film Green Goblin and Electro.

But that isn’t every villain. In fact there are several more yet unconfirmed villains that will be appearing in the game with no-one having a clue what we can expect. However thanks to a tease by Beenox on their facebook we now have some idea what villains we can expect to see alongside those already confirmed.

So, according to Beenox, all of the villains in the game are in IGN’s top 25 list. Which means that one, or some, of the following will be in the game but remain unannounced so far- Venom, Dr. Octopus, Scorpion, Alistair Smythe, Hobgoblin, Lizard, Sandman, Chameleon, Mysterio, Vulture, Hammerhead, Morbius, Morlun, Jackal, Rhino, Hydro Man.

If I had to pick, I’d say that Alistair Smythe and Rhino will definitely be in, and then probably Doc Ock and Vulture as they’ve been teased in the film. Who out of the above list do you want to see in the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game?
