The E3 Sony ‘Arkham Knight’ Demo Was Actually on PC
By Skip Harvey
At Sony’s E3 press conference, the company touted Batman: Arkham Knight’s gameplay on its PS4 platform by showing the game’s demo. According to those that were there, it looked amazing. Too much so, as it turns out. The demo was, in fact, not being shown on the Playstation at all.
Rocksteady’s Dax Ginn (whose name sounds like a Marvel space villain from the early 80’s) did an interview with
and casually reveals that the demo was actually the PC version.
It happens at about 4 and 1/2 minutes of this video. The PC build of the game is, of course, much higher quality than any of the console versions, so the press conference was a touch misleading. Granted, it doesn’t mean that the other versions will not be epic, or that the game will have changed, but it’s just kinda shady.
