DC Launches New Batman Comics this Fall!
By Skip Harvey
Big news for Batman comics today! This October DC is launching two new ongoing titles, Arkham Manor and Batman Academy. Here’s a brief rundown:
"In Arkham Manor, stately Wayne Manor gets made over into the local psycho dungeon, and, perhaps predictably, some inmates wind up dead. Things are a bit less bleak in Gotham Academy, a new monthly teen drama set at Gotham City’s most prestigious prep school. (Bruce Wayne is a benefactor; other familiar characters may pop up in Academy‘s twisted, teenybopping universe.)Gotham Academy hits on October 1, while Arkham Manor arrives on October 22."

These look like DC is trying to saturate every possible demographic of readers. Between these and Batman Eternal, there are going to be a lot of options for comic fans that don’t necessarily want to be married to New 52 continuity.
