When Will Jason Momoa Admit He’s Playing Aquaman In Dawn Of Justice?

Not yet, apparently. Maybe we just need to give him some more time.

More from Movies

Reports have Jason Momoa playing Aquaman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, but so far neither he nor Warner Bros. have actually come out and said that it’s official. Point of Geeks thinks that maybe the reveal is coming at San Diego Comic-Con later this month, and he’s simply not allowed to discuss it until then. It’s funny how movie studios try putting the genie back in the bottle sometimes.

In any case, Momoa did have this to say about a purely hypothetical role as a man with superhuman abilities:

"I think it would be really, really fun to play a superhero. You know?"

Actually, Jason, I don’t know, unless running around in super hero Underoos as a young lad counts. He did say that he couldn’t “see myself in tights a lot” and felt like more of an anti-hero role might be appropriate for him. Happily, Aquaman probably won’t be wearing tights on the big screen and has been plenty ornery enough under various writers to be considered an anti-hero over the years.

Dawn of Justice is scheduled to come out on May 6, 2016, and already has Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Godat as Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and those roles we know for sure.
