Walking Dead, Batman, WWE Stars Highlight Inaugural Wizard World Richmond Comic Con

Wizard World may already have its sights set on new cities for 2015, but there are still cities on the tour schedule for this year that have never had their own Comic Con before. On September 12 through September 14, the first Wizard World Richmond Comic Con will take place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, bringing its mix of pop culture stars, comic creators, cosplay and more to a new locale.

The guest list includes The Walking Dead actors Steven Yeun, Michael Rooker and Joe Bernthal, WWE superstars Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and Dave Bautista — who also happens to be featured as Drax the Destroyer in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie — and the classic Batman TV duo of Adam West and Burt Ward. The comics lineup is also strong, with Neal Adams, Ethan Van Sciver, Kevin Maguire, Greg Horn, Kevin Eastman and Michael Golden just a few of the creators scheduled to attend.
Along with a show floor packed full of comic and collectibles vendors, show programming will include celebrity Q&A sessions, the Wizard World Film Festival, costume contests and more. Tickets start at $35 for a one-day Friday pass, with three-day passes going for $75. And like all Wizard World shows, a host of VIP packages including autographs and photo ops are available.
