Marvel Universe Live Tickets Going For Half Off

At least near me they are. The email I got from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia is touting tickets to “select performances” for 50 percent off, including some of the evening shows. The tour makes its stop near me from July 24 through July 27, which unfortunately is when San Diego Comic-Con is going on.

It could be just a matter of supply outpacing demand, since Marvel Universe Live is putting on seven performances over those four days in Philly (not unlike when Disney on Ice comes to town … er, not that I’d know). Or it could be that except for people who have seen it, there’s some confusion over exactly what Marvel Universe Live is.

It’s definitely a live action arena show of some sort that stars all kinds of Marvel heroes and villains. It appears to have plenty of nifty special effects and … you know what? Maybe it’s be better to just watch this video instead of having me fumble around trying to explain it. The entire list of tour dates is here.
