Deborah Ann Woll Lands Role As Karen Page In Daredevil Netflix Series
By Nick Tylwalk
Going right from True Blood on HBO to Daredevil on Netflix is a pretty sweet deal, and it’s one that Deborah Ann Woll will be doing soon.

Entertainment Weekly reported today that Woll has been cast as Karen Page, a role described as the upcoming series’ female lead. Comics fans know Page as the first true love of Matt Murdock’s life, though for a time, she was also part of a love triangle that involved Murdock’s close friend and legal partner Foggy Nelson — and in another triangle with Matt playing both sides as his cooler brother Mike (it’s a long story).
Page also responded badly to learning the truth about Murdock’s double life as Daredevil, and was eventually killed off by Bullseye. It’s doubtful the Netflix show will get that far into Daredevil history to ensure she meets the same tragic fate, but it’s something to keep in mind.
Woll’s time as Jessica Hamby might be over, but her job portraying Page will kick off sometime in 2015.
