Superhero fans, get ready. Marvel Studios just announced another release date for an unnamed movie that’ll be coming in 2018. It was only a few days ago that we reported on five newly reserved dates. Today, another date has been added to the mix — May 4, 2018. Again, we have no idea what movie is being planned. Could yesterday’s article about Robert Downey Jr. hint that this is a release date for Iron Man 4? Really, it could be anything. The grand total now stands at an astonishing eleven planned movies based on Marvel properties:
- May 1, 2015 – Avengers: Age of Ultron
- July 17, 2015 – Ant-Man
- May 6, 2016 – Captain America 3
- July 8, 2016 – Unknown (Most likely Doctor Strange)
- May 5, 2017 – Unknown
- July 28, 2017 – Unknown
- November 3, 2017 – Unknown
- May 4, 2018 – Unknown
- July 6, 2018 – Unknown
- November 2, 2018 – Unknown
- May 3, 2019 – Unknown
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that titles for the films will be released during Marvel Studios’ Comic-Con International panel on Saturday, July 26 at 5:30 PM PDT, where Marvel Studios President and Producer Kevin Feige will be presenting.
