SDCC 2014: TRU Exclusive Classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Action Figures
By Nick Tylwalk
Surprised that Toys R Us has its own San Diego Comic-Con International exclusives? So was I, until I got an email about them.

To my knowledge, TRU doesn’t have a booth at SDCC, so its show exclusives are available at the Entertainment Earth booth (#2343). A couple items mght be of interest to comic fans, but these Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Classic Figures caught my eye the most.
The figures of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo were created using the costumes made by Jim Henson Productions for the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie as inspiration. They have 34 points of articulation, movie-accurate weapons and personalized sewer lid name plates. About the only thing they’re missing is the ability to rap, “Go ninja, go ninja, go!”
Actually, maybe that’s for the best. Other Toys R Us exclusives include a Star Wars: The Black Series two-pack with Han Solo and Greedo (so you can make Han shoot first!), a G.I. Joe two-pack, Power Rangers Mighty Morphin Legacy Lord Zedd and multiple My Little Pony toys.
So these probably belong in the category of pleasant surprises. Head to the Entertainment Earth booth if you’re on the ground in San Diego and check them out in person.
