Comixology Doing 8 Sales At Once For Comic-Con Weekend

Anybody can do one sale. That’s boring, and I applaud Comixology for going big for Comic-Con weekend.

Right now, the leading digital comics site has eight different sales in progress. That’s a lot of digital comics for much lower prices than normal.

Let’s investigate all of them, beginning with the ones that end the soonest:

  • Top Shelf Sale – Top Shelf is offering a massive bundle of 167 comics for $149.99, saving you over $500 dollars if you take the plunge. More than 140 individual comics are also 50 percent off. (Ends July 27)
  • Comixology Submit Bundle – This is 100 creator-owned books for just $10. Yep, that’s right. Ten cents a book, and a ludicrous 94 percent off their combined cover prices. If previous bundles are any indication, there’s something for everyone in this one. (Ends July 27)
  • Grimm Fairy Tales Sale – Just like it says, with individual issues 50 percent off, an exclusive bundle that is 58 percent off and selected collections for up to 54 percent off. (Ends July 27)
  • Image Comics Sale – Very similar to the previous deal, this is a sale on some of Image’s best-sellers, with separate discounts on single issues, a special bundle and collections. (Ends July 28)
  • Batman 750 Sale – We wrote about this one on Batman Day. It’s 750 different Batman comics, including some absolute classics, for 99 cents each. (Ends July 28)
  • Avengers & A+X Sale – It’s the beginning of Jonathan Hickman’s current run on Avengers plus the A+X series with all issues just 99 cents. (Ends July 28)
  • Cartoon Network SaleBen 10, Samurai Jack and more favorites, all for up to 50 percent off. Plus, you can grab Powerpuff Girls #1 for free. (Ends July 28)
  • Viz Summer Sale – Save $2 on a stunning variety of manga issues — over 1000 in all. (Ends 8/16)

You want more? Are you not entertained?

(Sorry.)

There is actually more. In honor of Comic-Con’s 45th anniversary, one selected graphic novel or collection is marked down to 45 cents each day. Click here to see today’s book.

Now that’s it. But that’s a whole lot of sales.
