Breaking: Bruce Timm to Return to DC Animation with JLA: Gods and Monsters!
By Skip Harvey
On top of Assault on Arkham making its much anticipated premiere at Comic-Con tonight, big news has come out of the panel session. DC proudly announced the return of Batman: The Animated Series co-genius Bruce Timm to the animated universe with JLA: Gods and Monsters!
Based on the 2001 comic with the same name, Gods and Monsters deals with a cult that worships the League as gods, but to disastrous ends.
This is a huge get for DC Animated because Timm is one of it’s shining stars that they moved away from in recent years. Honestly, they haven’t made a decent, serious Batman series since.
