New Flash Trailer Shows World’s Most Futile Speed Trap
By Nick Tylwalk
Imagine you’re a cop, minding your own business and working (though that term applies loosely in this case) a speed trap when a red blur comes through and shatters your windows — because it’s going 760 miles per hour.

That’s what happens to the poor police officer in the brand new trailer for The Flash, which you can see below. Somehow, I don’t think Barry Allen is going to have to pay the ticket or lose his license over this one.
By the way, take notice of the billboard. It reads, “Palmer Technologies” with the tag line “Bigger isn’t always better.” That’s a reference to Ray Palmer, who will show up as a recurring character on Season 3 of Arrow and just might end up assuming his comic book identity as the Atom. The cop’s crossword puzzle is also full of references to both of The CW’s DC super hero shows, which is a nice touch. The lightning bolt-shaped tear in the sign at the end is just the icing on the cake.
The Flash debuts on Tuesday, October 7 on The CW.
