Adams, Yu, Larroca Among Comic Creators At Wizard World Chicago Comic Con

The longest-running event on the Wizard World schedule for 2014 is Chicago Comic Con, and it’s coming up fast. The show will take over the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center from August 21-24, and it’s bringing over 315 comics artists and writers with it this year.

Among the more notable artists are comics legend Neal Adams, as well as top current stars like Lenil Yu, Salvador Larroca, Rafael Albuquerque and Jim Cheung. Other creators scheduled to attend include Marv Wolfman, Mike Zeck, Arthur Suydam, Greg Horn, Michael Golden, Mike McKone and James O’Barr. As with all Wizard World shows, a full slate of pop culture celebrities will also be on hand.
VIP attendees will receive a copy of Guardians of the Galaxy #17 with an exclusive variant cover by Alvaro Martinez, who will also be at the show. VIP packages begin at $199.99, depending on the celebrity autograph and/or photo op involved, and also include admission to all four days of the show, the free comic and more.
