Just in case it wasn’t clear that Jada Pinkett Smith’s Fish Mooney isn’t a very nice person in Gotham, the new “All Hail The Queen” trailer drives the point home a little more succinctly.

Though it’s only 30 seconds long, we see that Mooney has even more direct ways of asking for money owed her than Stewie Griffin and that she’s down with the “snitches get stitches” mentality. Interestingly, she also calls Oswald Cobblepot “my little Penguin,” suggesting that even though we’ve seen other characters point out his tendency to waddle in other previews, maybe she’s the one that makes his famous nickname official.
Mooney is one of the characters invented specifically for the show, but by the looks of it, she’ll fit right in with the villains pulled from the pages of DC comics. We’ll be seeing a lot more of her when Gotham takes its spot on Fox’s Monday night schedule on September 22.
