Marvel Confirms First Nine Playable Spider-Men In Spider-Man Unlimited
By Nick Tylwalk
The big draw for the upcoming Spider-Man Unlimited mobile game is that it features more playable versions of Spider-Man than any video game on any platform ever. Marvel has promised 23 for the game’s September launch, and it revealed the first nine of them this week.

They range from classic to fan favorite, and while most of them are Peter Parker in some shape or form, not all of them are. Without further ado:
- Spider-Man – The original and greatest, in the costume comics fans have known for decades.
- Spider-Man (Ben Reilly) – Since Ben is a clone, I guess you could argue that he’s Peter Parker too. But we won’t.
- Mangaverse Spider-Man – This is the only known Spider-Man that is the last surviving member of a ninja clan, but there could be others out there somewhere.
- The Bombastic Bag Man – If the Human Torch is such a good friend, why did he give Parker a spare Fantastic Four costume and a paper bag to wear when his costume got destroyed?
- Last Stand Spider-Man – In a dark future where he killed Kraven the Hunter, Spidey wears this outfit while he’s fleeing the police.
- Spider-Armor – Who needs color? This gray armored suit actually slows Spidey down, but it does protect him.
- Spider-Man Noir – A favorite whenever he appears, this is Spidey if he existed in old pulp novels.
- Secret War Spider-Man – Stealthy! When Nick Fury approached Parker about a secret mission to overthrow Latveria, he wore this suit.
- House of M Spider-Man – This Parker got to marry Gwen Stacy and have a kid. The public thinks he’s a mutant, but we know better.
That’s already a pretty sweet lineup, and we’ve still got 14 Spider-Men to go. Marvel will be revealing the rest on the game’s Facebook page, so you might want to keep an eye out there to see if Spider-Ham makes the cut — and he’d better!
