Tom Raney Exclusive Variant Thor: God Of Thunder #25 Revealed For Wizard World Nashville

The Thor we know is getting ready to step down from his position as God of Thunder, possibly against his will. But he’s still got an oversized finale to go through in Thor: God of Thunder #25, and VIP attendees at Wizard World Nashville Comic Con will receive a special variant to make the send-off even more memorable.

Marvel and Wizard World revealed an exclusive variant for Thor: God of Thunder #25 with a cover by Tom Raney, showing Thor Odinson whirling Mjolnir for what could be one of the final times. It’s limited to 3,000 copies, and will be distributed to all people who buy VIP ticket packages to Wizard World Nashville, including anyone who springs for a celebrity VIP package.
As with most Wizard World stops, Raney will be one of the artists in attendance in Nashville, meaning attendees will get a chance to have him sign the variant at the show.
“Featuring the Thor of each era, the oversized Thor: God of Thunder #25 is set to deliver an epic story spanning space and time,”Marvel SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel said in a press release. “Tom Raney truly captured the essence of the ‘God of Thunder’ for this exclusive variant cover and we’re thrilled he could bring his iconic style to Wizard World Nashville.”
Other comics creators scheduled to be at Wizard World Nashville include Ron Garney, Ethan Van Sciver and Greg Horn, and they’ll be joined by pop culture celebrities like William Shatner, Eliza Dushku and WWE stars Kane and the Bella Twins.
