Look For Conan O’Brien In 3D On The Back Of This Month’s Special DC Covers
By Nick Tylwalk
You didn’t forget that this was the month for DC to roll out the special 3D covers again, did you? Last time it was for Villains Month, and while I was initially skeptical of the gimmick, the covers turned out to be pretty darn cool.

One of the more interesting little details was that the ad for Batman: Arkham Origins on the back of all of last September’s DC books was also in 3D and featured the same lenticular motion effect as the images on the front covers (insert your joke about how the ad was better than the actual game … here!). It was cool to show even to people who don’t care much about comics. And my kids loved it.
Bleeding Cool News says DC is doing the same thing this month, but this time it’s an ad for Conan O’Brien’s late night show on TBS that gets the special treatment. Apparently Conan will have a Superman-esque cape that looks as if it is flapping around in the wind.
That’s cool, and I’ve always been a fan of Conan, but I can’t help but think I’m going to have the urge to duck when I see his hair in 3D …
