By Nick Tylwalk
I was going to start this post out with the “Harvey, Harvey, Harvey” line from The Dark Knight, but the Joker was talking about a different Harvey in that one.

The one we care about for the purposes of Gotham is Detective Harvey Bullock, played by Donal Logue. He’s a character with a rich comics and animation history, but as Geoff Johns says in the IGN exclusive video you’re about to see, he’s never been done in live-action form before.
Bullock has his own ideas about how to enforce the law in Gotham City that might not mesh too well with those of Jim Gordon, his new partner. And he doesn’t seem to be much for debating them, as evidenced by the line, “Somebody takes a cop’s gun, you shoot him. That’s basic.”
Logue says it’s a matter of survival, and that Bullock has had to “develop his own brand of morality” to stay in one piece on the streets of Gotham City for so long.
How often will Bullock have to “do bad to accomplish good?” We’ll see soon when Gotham premieres on September 22 on Fox.
