See The Greg Land Variant Cover For Death Of Wolverine #4

Everyone knows the phrase “the beginning of the end.” We’re past that point in Death of Wolverine, and issue #4 is more like the end of the end, as in Logan is really going to die.

With that in mind, Marvel has commissioned what it calls the Final Wolverine Variant for Death of Wolverine #4, by artist Greg Land and colorist Frank D’Armata. With five different images of the Canadian berserker, it covers the entire journey of his life in print.
“Charles Soule & Steve McNiven are giving Logan a grand sendoff,” says Marvel SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel. “So we wanted to commemorate his end with one final image that speaks to every era of Wolverine. Greg Land did an amazing job of capturing each of the many faces of Logan – from his first appearance to the Weapon X program days and more.”
Though originally planned as a weekly series that would all come out in September, the final two issues of Death of Wolverine have been pushed back to October. Look for issue #4, including the Final Wolverine Variant, at your LCS on October 15.
