An Unexpected Marvel Team-Up: The Punisher And Tim Duncan

You might not expect it from his cool, calm demeanor on the court at most times, but San Antonio Spurs star Tim Duncan is a big fan of the Punisher. If you need proof, all you need to do is check out the knee brace he’s been known to wear in NBA games.

Yet while many of us are fans of Marvel comics, not all of us get to appear alongside our heroes in the pages of one. But that’s exactly what Duncan is going to be doing, as you can see from this pic from the Facebook page of BlackJack Speed Shop, a car customization business that Duncan owns:
I can almost hear this conversation in my head:
Duncan: “Just try to bring it back in one piece, okay?”
Frank Castle: “No guarantees …”
I’m assuming this is from a Marvel Custom Edition comic for Duncan’s shop, but it’s still pretty cool. And hey Marvel, if you want to put me in a comic, typing up a press release for Tony Stark or something, I’m game.
