Disney Infinity Marvel Super Heroes: Which Figures Work With Which Play Sets?

facebooktwitterreddit

With the release of Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes only a few days away, it’s time to get your strategy in order. Specifically, it’s time to consider which Play Sets you need to use the characters you like the most.

More from Video Games

For people unfamiliar with Disney Infinity, Play Sets are like little worlds of adventure unto themselves, almost like their own separate games. They are activated by a themed, transparent piece that goes on the Infinity Base (the thing that plugs into your console and also brings the figures on it into the game) and usually take the form of action-RPG games. The catch is that unlike Toy Box mode, which is a sandbox that allows all of the Marvel and Disney characters to join in the fun together, a Play Set only allows certain characters to be used with it.

Marvel is initially bringing three Play Sets to the party: Avengers (which comes with the Starter Pack), Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy. However, unlike the first wave of Disney Play Sets, there are some characters who can cross over and jump into multiple Play Sets.

Need a list of which figure can be used where? That’s what we’ve put together right here. Note that figures that will not be available at launch are in italics.
