Scratch And Sniff Harley Quinn Annual Will Have Four Smells — Including Weed
By Nick Tylwalk
Sometimes I do headlines and can’t believe what I just typed. Alas, it’s true, or at least Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner just confirmed to MTV that Harley Quinn Annual #1 would be a scratch and sniff comic with four different smells.

DC is actually calling it “rub and smell” technology, which sounds … a little better, I guess? Palmiotti and Conner stated that leather, suntan lotion and pizza were three of the scents readers could expect, while they had to be a little cagier about the fourth.
Suffice it to say, after a Grateful Dead reference (possibly losing younger readers, but hey) and MTV’s joke about using the comic for medicinal purposes, it’s definitely marijuana.
The creators say that Harley Quinn and company go on four smell-related adventures in the comic, which definitely sounds well within the realm of what we’ve grown to expect from her. In any case, you’ll be able to smell this one for yourself when Harley Quinn Annual #1 goes on sale on October 29.
