Such is the power of the Inversion coming during the second act of AXIS. It’s going to flip around the usual characteristics of a bunch of familiar Marvel characters, and while that is going to mean negative things for some, it’s also going to have a surprisingly positive impact on others.
The original Hobgoblin, Roderick Kingsley, falls into that second category, as we’re going to see in AXIS: Hobgoblin #1. Under writer Kevin Shinick and artist Javier Rodriguez, Kingsley is going to be very different than we’ve ever seen him before, so much so that the Goblin King, Phil Urich, may feel compelled to put a stop to his new activities.
