What if the entire Marvel Universe as we know it got flipped upside-down?

That’s actually not a hypothetical question, or at least it won’t be once Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #3 hits the stands. In the final part of Act I: The Red Supremacy, the Avengers and X-Men have taken a stand together, but even they aren’t enough against the might of the Red Skull combined with the power of Professor X. Now the only thing to do is fight fire with fire, meaning that some of the heroes will have to side with people they would never trust if the situation wasn’t so dire.
Case in point: the Scarlet Witch, who finds herself joining forces with Dr. Doom, the man who used her power to set off M-Day. Yet if she doesn’t, she’ll lose the people she loves the most. And how’s this for an impossible decision: can the heroes destroy the Red Skull if the price is losing the last remaining shards of Charles Xavier?
Those are the kinds of decisions that await with the coming of the Inversion, brought to you by writer Rick Remender and artist Leinil Yu. Get a first look at the heartbreak that awaits in Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #3 (plus variant covers by Nick Bradshaw and Humberto Ramos) and look for it in stores or on digital on October 22.
