By Nick Tylwalk
We’ve already seen the new Goddess of Thunder make her (brief) debut in comics, but she’s about to be featured for the first time in a video game as well.

D3Publisher and Marvel announced today that in celebration of the first anniversary of Marvel Puzzle Quest — the mobile match-3 game turns one on October 3 — the female Thor will be appearing in the game soon. Look for the Goddess of Thunder as a legendary (four-star) reward for season VII, as well as a character all players can test out in a battle that will go live on October 17.
Thor isn’t the only new playable character to be joining the fun either. Devil Dinosaur is coming in an Anniversary Pack and as a daily reward for Day 365 players beginning on October 8. Yep, that’s the character who looks like a big red T-Rex.
If you’re planning on heading to New York Comic Con next week, you might be able to see some of this stuff in person before everyone else. The Marvel Puzzle Quest team will be at Booth #347 on all four days of the show, demonstrating both the tablet and PC versions of the game. I spoke to the developers at E3 during the summer, and they’re good people, so don’t pass them by at NYCC.
Besides, you don’t really want to make the Goddess of Thunder mad, do you?
