Guardians Of The Galaxy: The Universal Weapon Adds Iron Man, Vance Astro, More

If you’re like me, there’s a good chance you burned through all of the content in Guardians of the Galaxy: The Universal Weapon in one big frenzy in and around the time the movie came out. It happens.

A fairly big new update to the mobile game just hit today to give us all more reasons to go back and visit. Most notably, the following characters were added:
- Vance Astro – unlocked by completing Hala, Level 1
- Iron Man – unlocked by completing Sanctuary II, Level 5
- Quasar – unlocked by completing Sanctuary II, Level 9
Note that even if you’ve already beaten those levels, like we assumed from the start, you’ll have to beat them again to unlock said characters.
Other new content additions include a new Collections system, fittingly overseen by the Collector, Taneleer Tivan. If you can find objects like Baby Groot Action Figures (hey, we want those in real life!), Howard the Duck Rubber Duckies and Prosthetic Legs during your adventures, you can turn them in for rewards. He’s in a major rebuilding phase following the movie after all.
