There’s a Batman Easter Egg In Shadow Of Mordor
Shadow of Mordor might be a Game of The Year contender, but there’s no doubt it’s very-inspired by games like the Batman Arkham series, so it’s pretty fitting that the developers thought fit to include a tiny easter egg as an homage to the seminal series of games based on the dark knight.

If you kill one of the Morgul Bats that hang around in the various caves or Mordor, you get this entry about them in your Nature appendice:
"Those Uruks that get poisoned become horrbily diseased and bloated, wearing their deformities as marks of honor. The poison slowly eats at their minds, sending them nightmares of a demonic man-bat who preys on fear."
Again, nothing huge, just a nifty little easter egg that’s an obvious nod to Batman. Additionally, if you haven’t picked up Shadow of Mordor and have and Xbox One or a PS4 you should, as it’s easily one of the better games out on those systems even if you aren’t a fan of Lord of The Rings. And there are plenty more easter eggs in the game, though I doubt there’s more than one that makes reference to Batman.
