Gotham Ordered To Full Series
Holy full series order Batman! That’s right, Gotham fans, Fox has ordered six more episodes of the Batman prequel show bringing the first season to a full 22 episodes.
More from News
- James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy casts more major DC characters
- New Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom trailer pushes Arthur to his limits
- Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will have a battle pass (and that’s a bad sign)
- Masters of the Universe reboot’s new domain could be at Amazon’s Prime Video Streamer
- James Gunn gives interesting update of Superman and Supergirl movies at DC Studios
This is obviously a good show of confidence from the network and a pretty good indicator that there will be a second season of Gotham to look forward to. Obviously, confidence was high in the show with Fox placing it in a cushy Monday night time slot as a lead in to Sleepy Hollow (which is also a great show) and Netlfix getting exclusive streaming rights to the show before it even aired, but it could have fallen apart quickly if Gotham didn’t perform well and Fox lost confidence in the show and it just went to die a quick death like is the fate of so many shows (especially nerdy genre shows on Fox). Anyways, this is great news and be sure to check out Caped Crusades on Twitter for live tweeting of tonight’s episode!
