NYCC Batman Round-Up!

This weekend was the rising star of the convention circuit, New York Comic-Con. Since we’re nearing the end of both con season and the Batman 75 celebration, there isn’t quite as much breaking news about the Caped Crusader as there was over the summer. That doesn’t mean it’s bare by any means, though.
Here’s a look at some of the highlights that we brought you over the last few days:
"James Tynion Talks ‘Batman Eternal’ at NYCCThe Batman: Gotham Rising panel at New York Comic-Con is one of the last big celebrations of the Batman 75th Anniversary year, so it’s the perfect opportunity to discuss the future of the Caped Crusader in comics. For instance, Batman Eternalscribe James Tynion IV talked a bit about current and upcoming expectations for the weekly ongoing series.Different LEGO Batman Movie ComingThe LEGO Batman movie franchise is a very popular one currently, with LEGO Batman 3 set to premiere soon. But that LEGO Batman isn’t the same one that was voiced in Will Arnett in The LEGO Movie. Big Batman: Endgame Spoiler from Scott Snyder!Batman: Endgame is the newest and final chapter in the New 52 rebirth of Bruce Wayne. As we reported earlier, the story arc finds scribe Scott Snyder pitting The Caped Crusader against the Justice League, likely motivated by a secret villain. In a recent interview, Snyder discusses just who that might be and the big twist at the end of issue one! Crazy New Characters Announced for LEGO Batman 3!We’ve already told you about some of the cool DLC for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, but NYCC brings us news of some crazy new playbles that should stir up some fanboy glee! Gotham Panel at NYCCWarning: Spoilers ahead for the first few episodes of Gotham Finally, from our sister site BamSmackPow!NYCC 2014: Scott Snyder And Greg Capullo Talk “All-Encompassing” EndgameScott Snyder and Greg Capullo don’t do small stories.At least they haven’t done any during their lengthy run onBatman, which has seen one grand saga after another."
That’s it for NYCC, Bat-fans! All the new stuff not seen at SDCC, anyway. Now I can’t wait for con season to start again!
