The Juggernaut Returns In Amazing X-Men #15

Things just aren’t quite right in the world of the X-Men when the Juggernaut isn’t in it. Whether he’s a foe or a semi-reluctant ally, Cain Marko is arguably the most enduring non-mutant character in the lives of our mutant heroes.

In January, the Juggernaut makes his return in the pages of Amazing X-Men #15. And Cain Marko isn’t coming alone, as the Gem of Cyttorak is gathering everyone who has wielded its power in the past — including Colossus — as it searches for just the right someone to become its permanent host.
“A few of the strongest characters in the Marvel Universe get the call,” writer Chris Yost said to Marvel.com. “But Cyttorak needs a specific kind of person … someone they can manipulate. Someone who craves the power. Cyttorak wants an avatar. It’s a status thing among the other mystical entities/gods. All the cool other-dimensional powers have one. The return of the gem is part of the mystery, but the X-Men know that whatever Cyttorak wants, it’s probably not good.”
