By Nick Tylwalk
Early in AXIS, the battle lines were drawn pretty clearly. It was Red Skull, transformed into the incredibly powerful Red Onslaught, on one side, and darn near everyone else on the other.

But by the time we get to AXIS #5? Not so much. With the Inversion in full swing, different members of the Avengers & X-Men suddenly find themselves opposing each other. Both heroes and villains are acting strangely, and one of them may even have helped Red Skull escape from his holding cell in Avengers Tower.
Meanwhile, the X-Men claim a new home, the Sorceress Supreme battles a suddenly benevolent Doctor Doom, and the Superior Iron Man battles Daredevil over his Extremis-laced plans for San Francisco. And with all of that as a backdrop, Steve Rogers recruits Spider-Man and Nova for a mission that could determine the fate of everyone.
Sounds like an action-packed issue, this time brought to us by writer Rick Remender and artist Terry Dodson. And don’t miss out when the full issue smashes into stores and onto digital on November 12.
