Jason Momoa Finally Confirms Aquaman Role
By Skip Harvey
First it was a rumor that he denied, then it was a rumor he got annoyed by, then it was a rumor he played coy about. Now it isn’t a rumor. Jason Momoa will play the King of the Seven Seas in Batman v Superman, Justice League and his own standalone film in 2018. The actor finally spilled the beans at Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta, Georgia.
This is officially the worst kept casting secret to date, and we all kinda knew this was the case before any of this came up. It is nice, though, to hear it straight from the horses mouth. They are obviously taking a different aesthetic direction with Aquaman than the comics, but I don’t necessarily see that as a bad thing. I mean, I never quite understood why he was just some Aryan looking guy anyway. If anything he should look Mediterranean, right? Either way, here’s a video from the event:
What do you think, Bat-fans? Do you approve of the direction the powers that be are taking with the ‘A’-man?
