If you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, chances are you’d be doing that anyway. But tonight’s episode had a special announcement at the end: next week will see the broadcast debut of the first trailer from Avengers: Age of Ultron.
It’s possible the trailer might be in the wild before that. It’s been heavily rumored to be attached to several movies releasing early next month, including Disney’s Big Hero 6, which comes out on November 7. Yet many fans were expecting it online before that, pointing to other recent genre films that had trailers premiere online before they were seen for the first time in theaters.
Still, maybe Marvel and ABC want to really make next week’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. can’t miss TV for Marvel fans, and having the trailer debut during the show would make it that way for a number of people who can’t wait to get a glimpse of Age of Ultron. So while it’s possible we could see it before next Tuesday, you probably want to set aside the 9 pm hour on the 28th, just in case.
