The First Legendary Arrives In Spider-Man Unlimited, And He’s Superior
By Nick Tylwalk
I’m not sure how to get an interview request to Otto Octavius, but I think I already know how he would feel about becoming the first Legendary tier character in Spider-Man Unlimited: he’d ask rhetorically who else would be a better choice.

Indeed, Superior Spider-Man is the first Legendary Spidey in Gameloft’s endless runner, meaning he’s a seven-star character on a scale that previously topped out at six stars. Legendary Spider-Men have a level cap over 100, though it would take a long time and/or a ton of ISO-8 to get them there.
As with any newcomers, Superior Spider-Man is being introduced in an event, which is called “A Living Legend.” Placing in the top five out of your group of 1,000 players gets you Otto at the end of the event, and using the Uncommon, Rare or Epic versions of plain old Spider-Man gets you score bonuses to help you accomplish that. Superior Spider-Man is also currently the prize for finishing in the top nine today in Unlimited Mode, and we suspect it’s only a matter of time before he shows up in the Premium portal, though he’ll undoubtedly take some luck to summon in that manner.
Good luck tracking him down, and remember, Octavius would encourage you to do it if you want the very best. He doesn’t call himself Superior for nothing.
