Return To The 90s With The X-Men ’92 Summer 2015 Teaser
By Nick Tylwalk
The early 90s were a time of great thrills and anxiety for yours truly, who was going through puberty at the time. No such worries for the X-Men, who were at the peak of their popularity thanks to the best-selling comic of all time (Chris Claremont and Jim Lee’s X-Men #1) and an animated series that we loved so much, we’re still writing about it today.
It’s that show that quickly comes to mind when you see today’s Marvel Summer 2015 teaser:
That’s certainly how the X-Men were dressed in 1992. So that means that animated continuities are also in play for whatever is headed our way next summer?
It might, or it might not. You could say that about everything in this crazy run of teasers, but this one is a particularly head-scratching one. I’ll just say this: if all different realities are going to be a part one gigantic story, animated shows might as well get in on the fun as well.
Our Christina Roberts will certainly approve.
