Marvel Looking For Person Who Leaked Avengers: Age Of Ultron Teaser
By Nick Tylwalk
Here’s a warning to anyone thinking about leaking anything else regarding Avengers: Age of Ultron: Marvel is going to pull out all the stops trying to identify you and prevent anything like the early release of the Age of Ultron teaser from happening again.

The Hollywood Reporter had proof of that earlier today, citing Marvel’s attempt to subpoena Google in federal court in order to discover the identity of the person who sent the teaser to the internet early.
Marvel’s original plan was to air the teaser at the end of the October 28 episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., no doubt as a bit of a ratings stunt to help prop up the stagnant numbers the show is pulling in during its sophomore season — as well as issuing another reminder that everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is connected.
The leak forced Marvel to change course. The company owned the trailer’s early release by joking about Hydra’s involvement and posting an official HD version of the teaser, then adding extra footage that was seen last week on ABC. But Marvel clearly is still privately upset about the fact that there’s a leaker in the first place, and it’s willing to go to some effort to ensure it’s more difficult to do over the next few months.
It’s extremely difficult to prevent things from getting out to the public early in this digital age, but maybe if Marvel is successful in exposing this leaker, it will at least make others think twice about trying the same thing prior to next May when Age of Ultron arrives in theaters.
