"We still can’t get over that huge Gotham twist at the end of this week’s episode: the Penguin had it all planned from the start!Who would have thought Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) was such a brilliant mastermind and could orchestrate such an amazing long con? After snitching to the cops about Falcone’s (John Doman) crime operation back in the pilot, it turns out that Cobblepot began working with Falcone behind everyone’s backs—Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith), Maroni (David Zayas), and even Det. Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) himself. He’s been snitching on everything from Fish’s secret affair with Falcone’s No. 2 guy, her plans to backstab Falcone for her own gain, everything about Maroni’s operation, all for a place at Falcone’s side."
