Marvel Gives Another Glimpse Of Thanos Vs. Hulk #1
By Nick Tylwalk
There are comic book slugfests, and then there is whatever word you’d use to describe something a step up from them. If there isn’t a word like that already, we may have to invent our own to describe Thanos vs. Hulk #1.

What’s set these two titanic forces on a collision course? That’s probably what Jim Starlin, who is writing and illustrating the mini-series, wants us to buy the book to find out. All we know for sure is that Pip the Troll is involved, and that he somehow manages to kidnap the Hulk. Considering he gets stronger the madder he gets, he’s liable to be pretty strong before the Mad Titan even shows his face.
Plus Annihilus, Iron Man, Blastaar and S.H.I.E.L.D. are all part of this combustible mix as well. But really, does all of that even matter? Heck, does there even need to be much of a detailed story at all? Just the title alone is probably enough to get fans interested.
Thanos vs. Hulk #1 goes on sale on December 3, but to whet our appetites for this showdown, Marvel has released some of Starlin’s unlettered pages. Enjoy them below, and as T.O. used to say, get your popcorn ready.
